May Germain was our tour guide. This tour far exceeded our expectations. We thought we would be part of a group but instead had our own vehicle and May was our personal guide throughout. He was so knowledgeable and helped us cover more of Puerto Escondido than we could have ever done on our own. We thought we were just checking out a few beaches but were we surprised. Ventanilla was an amazing ecological park that allowed us to learn about the ecosystem and wildlife that exists in that region. We diverted from the itinerary and took a quick hike for some of the most amazing views we’ve ever had. Then we had the fortune to chill out at Playa Panteón where we had the best seafood and drinks. The beach was great and May watched over our stuff so we could run around. Having our own private transport was amazing because by the end of the trip it was great not getting into a crowed van. We had a fantastic whale and dolphin tour with Robert's Ecotours. We saw everything that we'd hoped for, and they even stayed out after all the other boats had gone in so we could spend some more time with the whales just on our own. Definitely worth it, thanks guys.
